Rajiv is the Founder Director & Chief Executive Officer of Beyond Compliance.

A distinguished corporate governance professional with over two decades of boardroom experience, Rajiv has built an accomplished career advising Boards of Directors and senior leadership teams on governance, regulatory compliance, board processes and strategic decision-making. His extensive experience across diverse industries has enabled him to develop a nuanced understanding of board dynamics, governance excellence and stakeholder expectations, making him a trusted advisor to boards and management alike.

Prior to founding Beyond Compliance, Rajiv served as Company Secretary and Compliance Officer for several prominent Indian listed companies, including Spencer's Retail Limited, Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Limited, VA Tech Wabag Limited and Biocon Limited.

His boardroom journey has provided him with the privilege of working alongside some of India's most respected business leaders and independent directors, including Mr. Sanjiv Goenka, Mr. Keki Mistry, Ms. Rama Bijapurkar, Mr. Jerry Rao, Mr. Sridar Iyengar, Mr. M. Damodaran and Ms. Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, among several other distinguished board members. These experiences have equipped him with invaluable practical insights into effective board functioning, leadership and governance practices.

Rajiv played a pivotal role in the successful Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Limited in 2009. During his tenure with VA Tech Wabag Limited, he led the Global Compliance function and was responsible for overseeing the statutory compliance framework of more than twenty overseas subsidiaries across multiple jurisdictions. He also headed the company's Investor Relations function, managing engagement with institutional investors, analysts and the wider investment community.

His international corporate experience extends to establishing, restructuring and winding up corporate entities across multiple jurisdictions. He successfully led the incorporation of companies in Bahrain, Malaysia, Oman, Philippines, Qatar, Singapore, Spain, Thailand and the United Arab Emirates, while overseeing the liquidation of entities in Algeria, China and Hong Kong. This cross-border experience has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of multinational governance structures and regulatory frameworks.

Between 2018 and 2022, Rajiv held a Certificate of Practice issued by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), during which he advised a wide range of corporate clients and conducted Secretarial Audits for several listed companies, including banking institutions. His professional expertise spans corporate governance advisory, board evaluations, board and committee effectiveness reviews, governance framework assessments, secretarial audits, due diligence, corporate restructuring and regulatory compliance.

Rajiv is widely recognised for his practical and experience-driven approach to governance. He regularly addresses Corporate Leadership Development Programmes (CLDPs), Executive Development Programmes (EDPs) and other professional forums organised by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), where he speaks on Board Governance, Board Dynamics, Board Meeting Simulations, Corporate Governance and emerging regulatory developments.

Rajiv is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (FCS). He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, a Bachelor's Degree in Academic Law and a Postgraduate Degree in Human Resource Management.

Revathi is an accomplished C-Suite Executive, entrepreneur and leader with operational expertise in leading cross-functional teams and developing long-term growth plans for the business. She is passionate about human capital management and building winning teams. She is the Founder and Director of LAQSH Job Skills Academy, Bengaluru, a company focused on employability skills and bridging the talent gap. Revathi’s entrepreneurship journey started in 2000 when she along with two other partners set up Tarang Software Technologies, a company focused on digital payment solutions and built up a marquis customer base across the globe within a short span. A former board member of the NASSCOM Executive Council, she is also a charter member of TIE Bangalore and is passionate about fostering entrepreneurship. Revathi has a distinguished corporate track record extending over 40 years in various leadership roles. As CEO of Wipro’s Finance Solutions Division worldwide she transformed it from a technology solutions-focused division to an industry and solutions-focused business. Revathi has worked closely with various private and private equity-owned boards over the years. She was an Independent Director and Chairperson of the Nomination & Remuneration Committee of the board of VA TECH WABAG LIMITED a listed company from 2012-2020. She was also an Independent Director on the board of Terrier Services from 2014-2016. Revathy recently joined the Board Of Management of Manipal University, Jaipur. Revathi is passionate about women’s empowerment and is a founding member of the Divershefy Club focusing on bringing greater Gender Diversity into Boardrooms and C-Suites. Revathi holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Bombay in 1980.

Sarah Arokiaswamy has more than three decades of experience in HR and Administrative functions. She served a long stint as the Regional Director of the Southern India Regional Council (SIRC) of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) at Chennai, a statutory body under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. During her later part of her career, she moved to the Head Office of ICSI in New Delhi where she assumed additional responsibilities.

As the Regional Director, she played a pivotal role in showcasing the profession of company secretaries through various means and mediums, apart from guiding and encouraging students to take up the profession of company secretaries. During her tenure at SIRC, she was instrumental in mentoring students and has been a sounding board for many professional members who seek her professional guidance and advice on various matters.

Sarah holds a postgraduate degree in Commerce and has done her M.Phil in Commerce.
